The Project

Saxon Hill Community School in Lichfield provides specialist education for children with a wide range of physical, sensory, communication, and learning needs. Bettaquip was appointed to design, supply, and install a new kitchen and community café, creating modern facilities that would support both the school’s catering requirements and its wider community activities.

The Result

The completed kitchen delivers improved workflow, increased preparation space, and upgraded catering equipment tailored to the school's needs. Featuring a full suite of commercial cooking equipment, a dedicated wash-up area, and mobile servery counters, the new facility enables efficient meal service while supporting a varied menu and specialist dietary requirements. The adjoining community café provides a welcoming space for events and valuable skills training opportunities for students, helping the school better serve both its pupils and the wider community.
