A visit to a local Dobbies Garden Centre is not just about buying plants, flowers and garden products. In line with this focus, Dobbies has invested in its catering facilities over the last number of years with a range of Electrolux foodservice equipment being installed in the kitchens. BETTAquip was awarded a project to install environmentally friendly warewashing facilities at a number of Dobbies Garden Centres throughout the UK. Understanding Dobbies’ attitude towards the environment and that most environmental impact occurs during the use of a machine’s lifetime; BETTAquip recommended and installed a number of Electrolux Modular Rack Type, Green & Clean Hood Type and undercounter dishwashers with the relevant Electrolux dishwasher handling system.
The Modular Rack Type warewasher range combines the highest level of washing and rinsing performance with cost saving, energy saving and environmentally friendly features. The unique wash and rinse system minimises water, energy and chemical usage to reduce overall running costs and impact on the environment. The eco friendly and cost effective functions equate to a 30% reduction in water consumption and a 75% reduction in Detergent consumption.
The Green & Clean range of dishwashers uses less water, energy, detergent & rinse aid consumption for lower running costs and less impact on the environment while providing best in class washing and rinsing performance with total detergent removal.
