East End Pool is unusual combination of a swimming pool and library is part of an extensive urban regeneration programme taking place in Newcastle’s east end. Electrolux equipment was chosen for the complete kitchen suite.
The East End Pool’s kitchen is a good example of how equal opportunities policies can be put into practice. The kitchen suite unusually includes height adjustable tabling and sink units. These are adjustable by up to 200mm so the height can vary up or down to suit individual needs. This gives people with certain disabilities the chance to work in a kitchen environment where they would otherwise be unable.
The kitchen also includes units of Electrolux 700 line modular cooking units, including a range and fryers, plus cabinet and undercounter refrigeration and a convection oven.
